Why Going To The Disney Parks Solo Can Be The Most Fun
One thing that I never saw myself doing, but have come to quite enjoy, is going to the Disney parks solo.
In fact, if you had told me three years ago that I would love going to the parks by myself, I would have laughed in your face. BUT I have changed my tune and here is why.
Rides
When FastPass+ is available, it’s much easier to snag one for one rider. AND you can utilize the Single Rider lines at Test Track, Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster, and Expedition Everest.
You can save some precious park time by hopping in the shorter line for solo riders!
Or use the time to hone your Toy Story Midway Mania skills without the heat of competition!
I’m not above getting in a little extra practice while I’m at Hollywood Studios by myself!
So you want to ride Haunted Mansion twice in a row? Go for it! Live your dreams!
You won’t even have to worry about your friends (or your HUSBAND) sabotaging your photos.
Food and Drink
When hitting the parks by yourself, you are free to eat whenever and wherever you want without having to satisfy all palates.
Stop by any EPCOT festival booth that you want to grab a bite to eat.
Or sample the beverage of your choice on a whim!
No need for a consensus or compromise. Indulge in whichever treats you’d like!
Shopping
You can buy any souvenirs you want without any unwelcome voices of reason or Debbie Downers.
A super sweet PhotoPass photographer may even ask to take your photo!
(How could I say no to that?! I’m not a monster!)
And don’t worry about looking out of place! Believe me when I tell you that you will see lots of people solo parking it! And loving it! (Including me!)
If the opportunity arises, don’t hesitate. Head to the parks and choose your own adventure!
